How to set up a business bank account and complete PAD authorization

To add a business bank account for the first time—or when updating banking details—follow the steps below.

💡 If your client provides new banking information, a new Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement must be completed.

1. Open the bank account setup

  • Go to Bank accounts

2. Enter the required bank details

Fill in all required fields:

  • Institution number

  • Transit number

  • Account number

3. Complete the PAD Agreement

Enter the following information:

  • Full name

  • Job title

  • Email address

4. Authorize and continue

  • Tick the checkbox in the PAD signature section to authorize Paiday Payroll to debit the bank account and manage transactions on behalf of the business

  • Click Save and continue
