Step 1 — Enable Calendar View
After logging into Paiday Hub, look for the Calendar View toggle at the top of your dashboard and switch it on.
Step 2 — Make sure your clients are set up correctly
The calendar pulls pay schedules from each client's settings. How it's populated depends on which payroll software they're using:
Client type | What you need to do |
Paiday Payroll clients | Set up their pay schedule in Business Settings. Once saved, pay dates and approval deadlines are calculated automatically. |
All other payroll software (e.g. ADP, Wagepoint) | Enter the initial pay run date when setting up the client. Paiday Hub will then calculate the next full year of payrolls from that date. |
Missing dates on the calendar? Check that the client has either a pay schedule (Paiday Payroll) or an initial pay run date (all other software) saved in their settings.
Step 3 — Navigate the calendar
Use the view options at the top of the calendar to switch between:
Month — see all clients' events across the month at a glance
Week — focus on the current or upcoming week
Day — drill into a single day
Agenda — a list view of upcoming events
What you'll see on the calendar
Hover over any event to see:
The client name
The event type — Approval Deadline or Pay Date
The pay period it belongs to
The current status
Non-Paiday Payroll clients (like Moe's Tavern in the example) will show an Approval Deadline along with their pay date, even without Paiday Payroll connected.
Stat holidays: The calendar does not yet automatically adjust pay dates that fall on statutory holidays or weekends. This feature is coming in a future update. In the meantime, check dates manually and adjust as needed.
