Step 1 — Open the Add Client overlay
From your Paiday Hub dashboard, click the Add Client button. In the overlay that appears, select Multiple / Bulk.
Step 2 — Download and fill in the template
Click Download Template to get the Excel file. Open it and fill in one row per client. Hover over any cell to see notes on what's required.

Preparer email: If the preparer already exists in your Paiday Hub, just enter their email. If they're new, fill in their first name, last name, email, and permissions (invite people, give access, manage firm) using the Yes/No dropdowns in the Users section of the template.
Step 3 — Upload the file
Save the completed Excel file, then drag and drop it into the upload area in Paiday Hub (or click to browse). The system will preview what will be imported — review the client names, preparer assignments, and any skipped users before continuing.
Tip: If a user is already a firm member, they'll be flagged and skipped automatically — this is expected.
Step 4 — Import
Click Import. Once complete, you'll see a confirmation showing how many clients and users were imported. Click Done.
After importing
Paiday Payroll clients — will require additional setup. Click the client name or the edit button to complete their subscription.
All other payroll software — clients will show as Active automatically. No further steps needed.
